Everywhere around Cambridge was this bright yellow crop (farmers please let us know what kind of crop this is??) in full bloom not long after we arrived in the area. In this photo you can see Cambridge City in the background, taken from the one hill in the are!

The quintessential Cambridge photo - Punts on the River Cam! It was a lovely evening so lots of people were out including us for a walk around Cambridge City.

This bridge is famous for originally being constructed without and nails, nuts or bolts. Safety and Health got hold of it, though, and now it does...! It still connects to Queens' College buildings.

This building is a church - one of the many in the centre of Cambridge - unsurprisingly it goes by the title 'The Round Church'. Can't think why??

Another essential photo that typifies Cambridge, there are Bicycles everywhere!!! And lots of them being ridden around not just the city centre. You have to watch your step when crossing city centre streets, you might get mown down by a cyclist if not careful. You can hear very old bikes coming though...!

On Saint Johns Street is this courtyard. Cambridge is very walker-friendly we found. Except for very uneven footpaths, you do have to watch your step!

This college of the University, Kings College is a very impressive set of buildings. This particular photo is of about half the Chapel. It was built in the 15th Century, and stands 29 metres high.

Our fav bookshop in Cambridge, Borders! The side entrance via Market Passage, smack in the middle of Cambridge CBD. Three floors of books and a Starbucks Cafe. What more could you want?? Oh. Parking.
