Audley End House, near Saffron Walden.

It was a beautiful day when we visited Saffron Walden, after a lot of rainy and overcast weather so people were outside enjoying the sunshine same as we were!

Saffron Walden was a lot like Shrewsbury. Lots of very old buildings where no-one thought to use a straight line...

This is the main Catholic church in Saffron Walden, it was a very prosperous market town and this is reflected in the granduer of the church building.

Near the very grand church was this row of ever-decreasing houses. Honestly even Karen would have to bend down to enter the last of the front doors in the line!!
