The next few photos are of Navy planes with wings that folded for more compact storage. We don't know how confident we'd have been to fly one of these, imagine all that physical stress on the wings - and with a joint in the middle of it! You can see the number of enemy planes shot down by the number of Japanese flags painted on the side.
