Some parts of Paris have a fairytale look, just like these buildings along the river Seine, taken from one of the many bridges.

One of the must-see places in Paris, the Notre Dame (Church of Our Lady). A fabulous building and huge inside with lots of things to see. We happened to be there during a Mass and sat in for some of it. All in French of course! It was only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel we stayed at.

We also went to the Museum of the Middle Ages, covering from about 1200-1600. The most amazing exhibit was the Lady and the Unicorn Tapestries which you will see a bit further down. This place was also only about 10 minutes from the hotel!

In the Museum's courtyard was this sundial. The building was originally a monastery we think.

Our friends Steve and Fiona from NZ at the Museum with us. Thankfully Fiona can speak more French than we can, it was very useful especially on the Metro and if we were all hungry...!

We think this stained glass window example was originally in a church somewhere but not entirely sure if that is the case.
