Here's Rod outside the Wellington Pub in the village of Wellington which is on the way to Shrewsbury. We couldn't resist stopping for a photo...

We also stopped in very briefly at this country park on the way to Shrewbury - just long enough to get out of the car to capture this georgeous pic.

Central attraction at a place marked on the map as "The Bog" worthy of a detour off the main road. This is for all of you who love a good hot curry but not the day after.....

Not much to say except it's a tree with snow on it. Very pretty though, don't you think??

Shrewsbury is well known for its buildings, a lot of them look like this one near the centre of town.

Another Shrewsbury building of the same style. Some of these buildings are rather crookedly built but they must have done something right as they are still standing after 400 years or thereabouts!!!
